DETAILS

Colombia Dulima is an exquisite blend of Excelso EP grades grown in the high-altitude regions of Tolima and Huila. Each carefully selected lot guarantees a screen size of 17/18 or higher, making it perfect for single-origin brewing or blending. This fully washed coffee boasts a smooth and clean taste, with a distinct acidity and satisfying body. The spread of coffee cultivation in Colombia during the 19th century is credited to a priest who made it a form of penance for his parishioners. This strategy proved successful, as Colombia became one of the largest coffee producers in the world, second only to Brazil for several decades. The Tolima district, one of the growing regions, is named after the Tolima tribe who inhabited the area before the arrival of the Spanish. The Spanish referred to them as the Pijaos, renowned for their fierce defense of their homeland, known as Dulima.
